Susie Stenmark, Creative Director, STENMARK Jewels

364x500_susie stenmark

I got caught up in the whole Transformers cult when I watched the first movie on DVD – these are truly great escapism films on a huge scale and now I have seen all of the series. It’s now been confirmed that director Michael Bay who has steered the series will now be at the helm of Transformers 4. Bay is on board, however most of the original cast don’t seem to want to play.

The Well – Tord Gustavsen Quartet

364x500_tord

“The Well” is the much anticipated new offering from the Tord Gustavsen Quartet. Norwegian pianist Gustavsen made a huge impact earlier this century with a series of albums which set the jazz world on fire: “Changing Places”, “The Ground”, “Being There” & “Restored, Returned”. The first three kept to a piano trio format; the latter to an expanded quintet with a female vocalist & Tore Brunborg on saxophone. The Well is different once again, omitting vocals but keeping the expressive brass work of Brunborg intact.

Warner Bros looks like locking away his next venture Mule, the story of a young couple who turn to drug trafficking in order to make it through the recession. Will keep you updated when I know more about the cast.
